Fs80 PETROL BRUSH CUTTER:
The Stihl Fs80 petrol brushcutter is a powerful yet manageable
weight metal bladed brush cutter. As with all the models which
are categorised in Stihl's "powerful" range this brush cutter
utilises a straight shaft for effective power transmission to
the cutting head. The standard Stihl Fs80 has a bike /cow
handle configuration handle system to allow comfortable and
controlled cutting of large areas with ease. This handle
arrangement also benefits from the addition of the new Stihl
tool-less adjustment clamp. This allows adjustment of the
handle without the user needing any special tools. The Stihl
Fs80 is powered by a powerful 25.4cc two stroke engine
developing 0.95kw/1.3bhp. This engine runs on a mixture of
unleaded petrol combined with a quantity of two stroke engine
oil for lubrication purposes. The Fs80 is supplied as standard
with both a metal blade and a nylon line cutting head, a pair
of safety glasses and shoulder strap/harness.
STIHL Fs08R PETROL BRUSHCUTTER:
The
Stihl Fs80R is the entry level "nylon line cutting" model in
Stihl's heavy duty range of petrol brushcutters. This powerful
brushcutter features a strong combination of a powerful engine
coupled with a straight shaft driving a nylon line cutting
head. The nylon line cutting head fitted as standard is the
Stihl "autocut" fitted with 2.4mm diameter line. This
brushcutter with its configuration and loop handle will give
effortless and economical clearing of grass and weeds in
confined areas.
The Stihl Fs45C-E petrol brush cutter is a version of the
standard Fs45 model but with the addition of Stihl's excellent
"Ergostart" mechanism. This feature allows easier starting of
the brush cutter's engine with far less effort required on the
engines pull cord. This easy to use and simple feature takes
all the effort out of starting the Fs45C-E's engine. This unit
is favoured by elderly gardeners as well as female users for

STIHL Fs55 PETROL BRUSH CUTTER:
The Stihl Fs55
petrol brush cutter. This unit is a true brush cutter in the
fact that the Fs55 has the option to use a metal cutting blade
as opposed to only a nylon line trimming head. The Stihl Fs55
is supplied with both giving you the option to use whichever
cutting tool is best for the job in hand. To give stability
when using the metal blade option this unit is fitted with the
traditional bike / cow-horn type handle system. A straight
shaft fitted to the brushcutter gives a direct drive to the
cutting tool fitted. A shoulder strap is supplied as standard
with this model to support the weight of the machine in use
whilst cutting. This is a necessity when using any brush
cutter with the bike type handle system. Another feature of
the Stihl Fs55 is the "multi-function handle", this allows
only one hand to control the operating controls (primarily the

cutting head with improved power transfer over a cranked shaft
strimmer, such as the smaller Fs38 & Fs45 models. This

due to its handle/straight shaft configuration. For the
occasional user in the garden a loop handled brushcutter as is
